Elder Milne's Second Email!

The week really seemed to fly by!  We make sure we all email him at least once during the week, and his dad usually slips in two or three.  He really does miss Dallin and is so proud of him!  Again he sounds great and he actually sent photos this time!  Here is letter #2:

This week was a little difficult for me because I caught a pretty bad cold last Wednesday and I still haven't quite been able to shake it off.  I think its because the dorm that I'm in is pretty dusty and there's like a weird musk in the room like there is mold or something because I feel good during the day but then I get in the room for the night and start coughing up a storm and have a hard time sleeping.  A couple nights ago I got like 3 hours of sleep.  What's cool though is when 630 finally came around I said a prayer that I would just have enough energy to get through the day okay.  Surprisingly that day was my best day at the MTC up to this point.  I had more than enough energy and something really clicked with the language because my sentences were flowing really easily and I understood pretty much everything that was said to me.  So that was a cool experience for me about the power of prayer.  And last night I actually slept pretty good, I think I'm finally shaking it off.  If you could send me a stash of Nyquil that would be awesome to help me get to sleep faster.  I haven't got the package with my shirts and stuff yet but it should come soon.

Glad to hear that everything is going good with school mom, it'll be nice to be able to take the rest of your classes at Dixie.  And I hope that everything is going good with young women's and that they are all treating you good.

The food is still pretty good, I'm eating a lot usually 2-3 plates a meal.  We get to exercise 5 days out of the week which is good.  And 3 of those times we get to go to the gym and play basketball which is fun.

Like I said I've made some big strides with the language this week.  Me and my companion talk most of the time in Swedish which is cool.  I'll attach a few pictures that we took together.

The greatest thing I've probably learned so far is that its not about just teaching a message to an investigator but being able to apply each lesson to the investigator specifically and how it can make their lives better.  Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.

Anyways I'm running low on time but all is well here at the mtc.

Love
Elder Milne

Here is a picture of my best friend at the MTC.  His name is Elder Corbin. He's from texas and we get a long really well.  He's the typical prideful Texan.  He's hilarious.  He's made the MTC a lot more fun for me.
